We've scaled down our 1/32 TBD Yellow Wing masks to fit the new 1/48 Hobby Boss kit. That means the set fits on fewer pages, making it less expensive. 1/48 scale modelers get all the breaks.
Like our 1/32 design, this set has everything you need to paint the cowl, tail, fuselage stripes, and wing chevrons for most prewar TBDs assigned to Torpedo 2, 3, 5, and 6. It also includes masks for insignia, fuselage U.S. Navy markings, prop tips, wheels, arrestor hook stripes, wing walks, fuel filler caps, oil cooler grill, and bomb bay window.
The design includes interchangeable masks for the 4 squadrons and aircraft numbers 1-16, covering 64 different airframes.
Download includes four 9.5 x 7 in. (240 x 180 mm) SVG files, DXF copies, and a PDF placement guide.
