Ron Stearn’s 1/48 Tamiya F4U-1A

Ron Stearns is one of the elite modelers posting his work on Hyperscale. When Ron complained the Tamiya kit decal colors wouldn’t match the heavy weathering he planned for his Kepford Corsair, we invited him to try our Comprehensive Mask Set.

Our set is designed to fit the new Magic Factory kits, so we were interested to see how easily they could be made to work with the Tamiya versions. Ron hasn’t found a modeling challenge he isn’t willing to accept, so he took a crack at it.
